Boston’s Seaport District is undergoing a sea change—and those who call it home couldn’t be happier. The waterfront neighborhood is seeing a wealth of new businesses open—ones catering to the neighborhood’s residents, not just its visitors, such as a Trader Joe's supermarket, daycare, a second location for Porter Square Books, and performance spaces—as well as elegant new homes like the luxury apartments for rent at NEMA Boston. This has been a focal point for the neighborhood – to be able to bring a variety of amenities to the Seaport. Additional projects coming to the Seaport District include Seaport Performing Arts Center, Fort Point Community Theater, and a new 1.5-acre neighborhood park.
